My friend got ripped off!
Is this your story?
I got a request from a friend who did not have a credit card to use mine for an online purchase he wanted to make. The amount was ahrdly anything, so I agreed. I use virtual cards for online purchases, so I wasn’t too worried about safety.
Turns out that this guy had been had by the scammer pirateaccess.com
He used the card to register and went to a page that was a place holder instead of a login area. Turns out that the site advertises cracked software.
The process is simple:

He used the card to register and went to a page that was a place holder instead of a login area. Turns out that the site advertises cracked software.
The process is simple:
- Create entire lists and advertise cracks for every software you know.
- Put adds all over the net and optimize your site so that anyone searching for Dreamweaver crack, or Photoshop Crack, or full version, etc find the site.
- Claim that there is a nominal fee for entry into the member’s area
- Redirect to a porn site for a 3 day membership (should expire before the gullible fools can figure anything out)
- Have a submission form that can churn out a random string.
- Have a link that says login and goes to a blank page (or better still, a page saying “you’ve been had!”)
- Watch your bank balance grow.
The beauty of this is that no one is going to sue you for cheating them from access to pirated stuff. The amount is not big enough to make anyone seriously pissed.
So folks, if you don’t even see a contact link for the webmaster…… I guess its not too smart to put your money in.
