Will India make it to the Super 8
Loads of hopes resting on this one. Many fans might just lose interest in the World Cup completely if India doesn’t make it. The players themselves will be heartbroken. Advertisers counting on Indian viewership will be devastated. The ICC itself earning massive advertising revenues from the huge population of India glues to the sport will be saddened.
Much, much depends on what happens next. Will India qualify?
After the Bangladesh match, it looked like all that remained to do were the flight bookings for the return. After the match with Bermuda, the ever mercurial hope is soaring again. India basically needs to win the match against Sri Lanka, and win it with a nice margin.
One match to go and we all know its on the 23rd.
