India has a rich and vibrant society. Relationships, communities and opportunities abound. Sometimes not. India is also plagued with a lot of thoughtless practices. It is important to raise a voice to question them. It is important to start conversations for change. I believe in an inclusive approach. It is not necessary that for one group of people to flourish, another must suffer. Too much of India’s awareness around issues is also like that – polarized. Haves, have nots. Hindus, Muslims, Christians, etc. Separatists, Nationalists. And so on. If we are to walk toward a destiny of democracy, we need to look at points of confluence rather than difference. To enhance them rather than confront others. Many of my articles from this section take a totally different look at social issues. They may work, they may not work, but they are valuable, I think.
