Compatibility testing services

As the web grows more and more sophisticated, the ways in which your site is viewed keep increasing. It is difficult to track what setup renders your site in which way, and can make all the difference to the user experience.

I am offering compatibility and usability testing services. No longer do you have to wonder if a user with an Opera browser on Ubuntu is able to use that fancy navigation menu as intended, or if your site gets some ugly margins in some other browser.

It means you can give me a link to a website, and I can see how it renders in different browsers and operating systems and send you a report back.

The different packages planned are:

Basic testing

  • Operating systems – Windows XP, Windows Vista and Ubuntu
  • Browsers – Internet explorer 6/ 7/8, Opera, Firefox, Chrome
  • Deliverable – screenshots of your site

Cost: $1 per url

Advanced:

  • Checking specific usability in various browsers or platforms and offering any tips/tweaks that may occur to me – no claims of being a wizard, and the price is also not so.
  • Deliverable – screenshots and write up (subjective)

Cost: $5 per feature

Custom:

Browsers or specific softwares or operating systems. Inquire. I’m sure we can work out something that is affordable.

Planning to add Macs, more browsers, feed readers and more.
